February Stitch Fix

February 8, 2016 By: Ginacomment

I always love when it’s Stitch Fix day! Don’t get me wrong, I love going shopping. However, it’s kind of fun to have a personal stylist pick out some new clothes for you šŸ™‚

I usually try and schedule a fix once a month. It’s something fun to look forward to! For those of you who have never tried it before: you fill out a style survey, pay your $20 styling fee & then receive 5 items in the mail on the date that you schedule! If you decide to keep all 5 items, you get a special discount. Whatever items you decide to keep, the $20 styling fee gets taken off of your total. The best part is, there’s a pre-paid return bag so you can ship back anything you don’t like, for free!

I have found my “fixes” to be most successful when I update my Pinterest board often, so my stylist has an idea of my style and maybe some specific items that I’m looking to add to my wardrobe.

If you’d like to try it out for yourself, please use my referral link {here}!

Here are the items I received in my fix today!

Item #1: Fun2Fun Torrey Henley Button Top

This top would probably be cute with a vest, but as you can see, the fit isn’t very flattering on me, and makes me look preggers…which I’m not.

Verdict: RETURN
Item #2: Collective Concepts Decano Pullover Sweater

I was really excited when I saw this sweater in my box. It’s one of the items I had specifically pinned on Pinterest. However, same problem with the first top, it just sort of hung on me in front. {#bigchestproblems} šŸ™

Item #3: 41 Hawthorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan

I knew from the second I saw this cardigan I would love it! This is my go-to teaching outfit. Throw on a cute necklace or scarf and I’m good to go!

Item #4: Mystree Skylar Knit Jacket

I absolutely LOVE this jacket! The material feels comfy like a sweatshirt, but you can easily dress it up as well. It can be worn either zipped up, or open with a cute top underneath.

Item #5: RD Style Ellery Dress

I’m in LOVE with the fit of this dress! Perfect for date night šŸ™‚

Verdict: KEEP

I was really happy with this fix! I’m keeping 3 out of the 5 items, and now I can be more specific on my next fix for some even better luck!
